Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued June 2 at 4:44PM CDT until June 2 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 372, PREVIOUSLY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON, IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS COLLIN COOKE DENTON GRAYSON JACK WISE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALLEN, BRIDGEPORT, CARROLLTON, DECATUR, DENISON, DENTON, FLOWER MOUND, FRISCO, GAINESVILLE, JACKSBORO, LEWISVILLE, MCKINNEY, PLANO, AND SHERMAN.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 2 at 4:58PM CDT until June 2 at 5:15PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX At 454 PM CDT, a large cluster of severe thunderstorms continues to impact the warned area. The strongest cores were located near Pilot Point and near Denton. The activity is moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Large hail may be near... Celina, Aubrey, Krugerville, and Cross Roads around 500 PM CDT. Prosper around 505 PM CDT. Frisco around 515 PM CDT. McKinney and Little Elm around 520 PM CDT. Ping pong ball size hail was reported in Denton with these storms. In addition, there have been multiple reports of winds in excess of 50 mph.

Flood Advisory issued June 2 at 5:00PM CDT until June 2 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of North Texas, including the following counties, Collin, Denton, and Wise. * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Garland, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Denton, Richardson, Lewisville, Allen, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Wylie, Coppell, Rockwall, The Colony, Southlake, Sachse and Corinth. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
