Flood Watch issued July 6 at 2:08PM EDT until July 6 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following areas, Carroll, Columbiana and Jefferson OH, Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Higher Elevations of Fayette, Higher Elevations of Indiana, Higher Elevations of Westmoreland, Indiana, Jefferson PA, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland, and West Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke and Hancock. * WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The combination of saturated grounds and heavy rain potential from slow moving thunderstorms creates a higher risk for flash flooding, especially in poor drainage, low lying areas, or areas that experienced flooding within the previous three days. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Flash Flood Warning issued July 6 at 5:20PM EDT until July 6 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA At 520 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported flooded roadways in Sugarcreek. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Oil City, Franklin, Sugarcreek, Tionesta, Hasson Heights, Seneca, Polk, Rouseville, Cooperstown, Woodland Heights, Utica and Oil Creek State Park. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
