Lake Salvador and Lake Cataouatche... At 139 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated an outflow boundary, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This boundary of gusty winds was located along a line extending from 13 nm north of Golden Meadow to 13 nm north of Barataria Bay to near Empire, moving northeast at 30 knots. Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots and higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes. Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service forecast office.
