Locally higher values possible on Monday. * WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, and western Kentucky. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Elkton, Fort Campbell, Clarksville, Guthrie, Pembroke, Trenton, Allensville, Allegre, Clifty, Herndon, Everett, and Justice. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 73 and 92. Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 1 and 17. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
