In north central Kentucky, Henry, Larue, Nelson, Shelby, Spencer and Washington KY. In south central Kentucky, Adair, Allen, Barren, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Hart, Lincoln, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell and Taylor. * WHEN...Until midnight EDT /11 PM CDT/ tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Flood Advisory issued July 21 at 5:25PM CDT until July 21 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Adair County in south central Kentucky... Barren County in south central Kentucky... Metcalfe County in south central Kentucky... * WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 525 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Glasgow, Columbia, Edmonton, Three Springs, Horse Cave, Cave City, Park City, Fountain Run, Clarks Corner and Beechville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
