In east central Kansas, Chase. In south central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick and Sumner. In southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

In southeast Kansas, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1113 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow-moving thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Derby, Winfield, Mulvane, Neodesha, Fredonia, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Yates Center, Oxford, Udall, Howard, Burden, Altoona, Moline, Longton, Toronto, Severy, Buffalo, Grenola and Atlanta.
