Flooding may be ongoing in poor drainage areas. Roads, streets, and underpasses may be flooded in some sections. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 550 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that the rain had ended across the advisory area. According to radar and automated gauges, up to 2 inches of rain fell. Recent traffic reports indicated lingering standing water on some roadways. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Portage, Valparaiso, Chesterton, Lakes of the Four Seasons, South Haven, Porter, Winfield, Burns Harbor, Ogden Dunes, Town of Pines, Beverly Shores, Wheeler, Dune Acres and Malden. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring.
