Special Weather Statement issued September 23 at 5:42AM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL Locally dense fog is expected across portions of inland northeast Florida, including the Suwannee River Valley and locations along the Interstate 75 corridor, this morning. Intermittent and patchy dense fog will impact aforementioned areas until around 9 AM. Given the nature of the fog visibilities on area roadways can reduce to one half mile or less over short distances. If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
