Flood Watch issued July 15 at 1:36AM MST until July 15 at 11:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Yavapai County, Northern Gila County, Oak Creek and Sycamore Canyons. * WHEN...From 11 AM MST this morning through 11 PM this evening. * IMPACTS...Flash flooding will be possible in creeks, normally dry washes, swimming holes, and over recently burned areas including the Pocket Fire scar. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Abundant monsoon moisture is in place. Thunderstorms developing over the higher terrain will move into the watch area during the afternoon and evening. Some storms will be capable of producing 1-2" of rain in less than one hour. - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.
