Pinal County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 545 PM MST. * At 452 PM MST, a wall of dust was along a line extending from near Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport to Chandler Fashion Center Mall to near South Mountain Park, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong wind in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Hazardous travel. * This includes the following highways... AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 140 and 172. AZ Interstate 17 between mile markers 195 and 201. AZ Route 51 between mile markers 1 and 2. Locations impacted include... Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Apache Junction, Tolleson, Sun Lakes, Laveen, East Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe Marketplace, Papago Park, Granite Reef Dam, and Falcon Field Airport. Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible.
