General Flood Advisory Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "NIKA" {TORAJI} was estimated based on all available data at 380 km East of Infanta, Quezon (15.2°N, 125.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h and gustiness of up to 135 km/h. It is moving Westward at 10 km/h. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Ilocos Norte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Bulu, Banban, Bacarra-Vintar, Laoag and Quiaoit. + **Pangasinan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Balincaguing and Alaminos. + **Ilocos Sur** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Lower Abra, Silay-Sta. Maria, Buaya, and Amburayan. + **La Union** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Amburayan, Baroro, Lower Bauang and Aringay. People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
