A strong storm system continues to bring heavy rain to the central coast of British Columbia. Rainfall rates are expected to continue through the day today. Areas in the south such as Rivers Inlet and Kingcombe Inlet will likely not see much rain during the day, then heavy rain again tonight and Wednesday morning. ### Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
